尋找美好風景的道路不總是一帆風順，那擋住去路的風景也許正是那心中「桃花源」啊！一條瀑布，一棵古松，一座草廬，還有輕柔的紫雲繚繞，何必再去尋找那遠方的群山萬嶺，此處不正是「夢裡尋它千百度」的千華美地嗎？畫作將人事物提煉到一個具有戲劇效果的情境中，遠處峻峭的高峯和近處的小船抵岸形成虛實對照，加上其他景物元素和色彩所營造出的豐富暗示，讓人浮想聯翩，充滿浪漫主義表現風格。
