畫作呈現出猶如液體自然流淌、亦動亦靜、蔓延或收縮的瞬間狀態，似道家學說之“非定於形”，是曰“恍惚”。着墨於絹上，疊置、滲透、留白，巫登益先生以墨色暈白，創造出不規則的奇特輪廓，是山？是水？其中黑白灰之間彷彿蘊藏着無數景象，只是並非由人主動依可見物描繪，而是由心由意而發，創造恍惚間偶發之“象”。從形式上看，呈現不同尋常的、非傳統水墨觀察視角的視覺感受，極具抽象精神和當代表現張力。

The artwork presents a momentary state akin to the fluidity of nature, a blend of motion and stillness, an expansion and contraction, embodying the Taoist concept of “non-fixed in form” or “indistinct.” It’s what they call “illusionary.” Rendered on silk, through layering, permeation, and the use of white space, Mr. Wu Deng-yi employs ink to create irregular and distinctive contours, blurring the lines between mountain and water. Amidst the shades of black, white, and gray, countless scenes seem to be hidden, not drawn according to visible objects, but rather emerging from the heart and mind, creating occasional “representations” in a state of illusion. Formally, this showcases an extraordinary visual experience from an unconventional, non-traditional ink painting perspective, embodying abstract essence and contemporary expressive tension.
