Mr. Wu Deng-yi used “the moonlight like jade hanging on the branch” to recall the memory in his heart implicitly. The unique ink texture method, like high-contrast black-and-white photography, shows a tree branch under the moonlight, winding
and growing like an elf in a fantasy movie, but the owl on the branch stands quietly in sharp contrast, moving and stilling , looks so amazing against the quiet dark blue background. The composition like a banner scroll makes the image seem infinite, making the viewer feel unfinished, as if all the elements in the picture contain infinite vitality and energy, ready to go.
