不同尋常“月上枝頭”的構圖，如白玉般的貓出現在以對角斜線切分畫面的樹枝上，而月亮則被巧妙的安排在畫面的右下方，與貓的位置形成對角相映，如太極之陰陽兩儀。樹枝的表現非常具有詩意，從其造型的張力和構圖位置似乎可以讀出藝術家對於書法和戲劇的獨到造詣，而從光線明暗和露出背景色的空隙又似乎可以領略藝術家對於具象和抽象之間的玩味手法。

The unconventional composition of “Moon on the Branches” features a cat resembling white jade positioned on tree branches that diagonally divide the canvas. The moon is cleverly placed in the lower right corner of the scene, forming a diagonal contrast with the cat, akin to the complementary principles of Yin and Yang in Tai Chi. The depiction of the tree branches is profoundly poetic, suggesting the artist’s distinctive proficiency in calligraphy and drama through the tension in their form and composition.
