The finishing touches are used on the mountains in the close-up and medium shots. The rising sun has not yet to be seen, but the redness has already reflected on the side peaks. Two pine trees stand upright in the sea of clouds. Viewing the painting from the distance, the white on the top of the mountain is one brilliant stroke which creates the magical and sacred feeling.
