The proud sun rises, illuminating all things, while the celestial waters surge, giving life to creatures. Mountains are tangible yet serene, water intangible yet in motion. This artwork breaks free from the traditional layout of landscape paintings, placing the distinct and tangible distant mountains behind a rising sun to create ethereal silhouettes. The water springing forth, though formless, becomes an abstract scene for free expression. In parts, it approaches the techniques of Western oil painting in portraying the flow and leaps of water.
